I like this painting. In my humble opinion, "My brain" from the Brain Series is an exciting, original and uneasy work. Everything about making it was unusual. I painted/collaged it on the grass in front of my studio and worked long hours without getting tired. My brain was helping create it. It has been made from old CDs, wires, pieces of wood, plastics, old seeds, screws, nails, nuts, and probably many other things I have forgotten. Here is my brain talking to the world. I made a conscious effort to maintain a high level of spirit and energy while working on it. It is a giant canvas, measuring 150 x 130 cm.  I am an empath, and my brain is very often bleeding when watching, reading and seeing the reality, inequality, unfairness, climate disaster, and the extinction of animals and plant species. It is not an optimistic image. That is why my brain was bleeding and still is.  

Devotion                 discipline discipline routine The most important thing: devotion, discipline, and routine - to become a well-known artist. Or maybe an artist who will make enough money from selling her/his art every month and survive the harsh reality of our life.  It is about working every day, making small steps to go where you want to be. The process is more important than the end achievement. And be active on social media with regularity - it is also a necessity, and it is not easy for me to be consequent in posting on Instagram, Facebook, X and all these other social media.   The questions are, for me and a lot of other artists.   What steps are necessary to become a well-known artist?  How can one survive as an artist in the harsh reality of life?  How can one stay consistent in posting on social media? Title: still needs to decide.  Mémoires from the East part of #Scotland . A beautiful valley - forgotten by humans. Just an old chapel and a dying graveyard. Hmm... can actually a place who supposed to bury dead bodies be dying? Philosophical question.  I wanted to achieve a semi-abstract effect. Some parts of the work had to be as representative of the style as possible in not typical realistic painting. And some features had to be expressive-abstraction.  I am happy with the result. I will make another painting with the same image but less figurative and paint it on a bigger canvas with oil.  This painting is for sale, and the price could be discussed with the person who wants it.  It is a middle-size painting: 62cm x 46 cm (24x19)

I am satisfied with the result. Drawing such a large piece on significant paper costs a lot of time, energy, and determination. The size of it is 42 x 63 cm, and it is to buy for 1000 pounds. Per hour, I will probably make 5 pounds - excluded material. How can you survive as a creative person in the world of cheap, printed and copied...

My new abstract. It is a real pleasure to experiment and play with adding textures to an oil painting. First the oil paints, added in different thicknesses and in different ways (brushes and pallet knifes). After that the fun of making textures. I used little, tiny sticks, pallet knifes and pins. The variety of textures you can achieve is amazing. It is never too late to learn new things. I am pleased with the end product. Structures Implicated by Kasia B.
